Why Rest Feels Uncomfortable
Most of us were taught that doing nothing is wasted time.
We push, plan, and perform because stillness feels like failure.
But in spiritual terms, rest isn’t quitting — it’s recalibrating.
Just like soil must lie untouched before new seeds can grow, your soul also needs seasons of stillness.
When you stop moving, your nervous system finally exhales.
Your body can catch up to what your spirit already decided.
That’s when clarity arrives — not through effort, but through quiet.
Learning to Rest Without Guilt

When you rest, you tell God, “I believe You’re still working, even when I’m not.”
The Spiritual Purpose of Rest

For one week, give yourself permission to not strive.
